Introducing the Children's Reading Club: a free reading club outside of regular school hours for children and teenagers aged 6-14 from diverse backgrounds.

Introducing the Children's Reading Club: Created under the Leseclubs – Mit Freu(n)den lesen“ ('Reading Clubs - Reading with Friends') project by the Stiftung Lesen and funded by the 'Kultur macht STARK' program of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, this initiative, led by VMDO e.V. in partnership with VKII Ruhrbezirk e.V., offers a free reading club outside of regular school hours for children and teenagers aged 6-14 from diverse backgrounds. The program includes discussions, reading days, author presentations, themed events, and more, all aimed at promoting reading motivation, enhancing literacy, and fostering creativity and unity among participants.

Moving Archives 2026 bringt 26 Jugendliche aus Togo und Deutschland zusammen. Über Tanz, Storytelling und Video erkunden sie die gemeinsame deutsch-togolesische Geschichte – von Lomé bis zum UNESCO-Welterbe Koutammakou. Vom 22. Juli bis zum 24. August 2026, mit Reise nach Togo vom 8. bis 18. August.
